Rant
June 3, 2008College na ako.
Tipong The Ring na rin ang aking pagiging high school. Get it? 7 Days? ugh.
So yun. Wala ako sa mood ngayon. Dumating ako ng bahay na walang pagkain. Tapos, sinermonan pa kaming lahat. Hay.
They complain about how we ( actually ako lang) always go out with our friends at malls or parties. Tapos, when we’re at home naman, they complain when we chat. So ayaw ba nilang makipagkaibigan kami? Anlabo. Sobrang contradicting ng mga sinasabi nila kanina. Tapos they complain about how dependent my brothers are to the tutors or whatever. Tipong they hate that my brothers have no sense of independence. I think what’s to blame is them. Kasi naman, they spoon feed us too much. Sobrang weird ng upbringing nila sa amin. In their efforts to protect us from the harsh realities of the world by pampering us, they breed naive men who can’t even do things on their own.
Sometimes naiisip ko na maybe nung bata pa sila, when they were in that situation, belonging to lower middle class I presume based on how they describe their life back then, they probably thought and dreamt of succeeding one day and hitting it big time so that, when its their turn to have their own have kids, they could provide they children something much better and brighter than what they used to have.
And they did. Pero, having done that, providing their kids what they lacked before, causes them untolerable headaches. Ironic.
Right now, I feel like I can’t wait for the day na I’ll get out of this house.
Bago yun, college muna.
And i can drive na!
Pero, I won’t be driving my own car sa school. Kasi, mahal yung gas. Kakatamad. And my parents can’t afford to get me my own car.
I want a Mazda MX-5. It’s on the top of the list of things I might get myself with my salary. HAHAHA. NAKS.
